Amnesty International Moldova (AIM) is a non-governmental organization, the key activities of which include the fight for and promotion of Human Rights in the Republic of Moldova. Our mission is to carry out activities focused on raising awareness towards human rights issues, as well as preventing and stopping human rights abuses. Reports to the Human Rights Education Programme Coordinator

About the Role:

As an HRE Programme Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our educational initiatives. You’ll work closely with diverse groups, from educators to activists, contributing to the development and execution of our yearly operational plan.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Crafting compelling project proposals for fundraising efforts
  • Organizing engaging HRE workshops for various groups
  • Maintaining strong communication channels with educators and partners
  • Advocating for human rights education to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitoring governmental and non-governmental HRE initiatives
  • Assisting in logistical planning and execution of activities

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Sciences (Psychology, Education, Sociology, Anthropology, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in English, Romanian, and Russian
  • A drive for continuous learning and professional development
